Booking Confirmation & Portal Access

Once your inspection is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation along with access to our client portal. This portal keeps everything in one place—your appointment details, inspection reports, and any important updates.

A direct access button will be included in your confirmation email, making it easy to log in and stay informed every step of the way.

Review & Sign Your Inspection Agreement

Once inside your client portal, the next step is reviewing and signing the inspection agreement. Simply read through the document, initial where required, and sign to confirm your understanding. If you have any questions, our team is always available to provide clarity and discuss any details.

Our agreement is Government of Alberta-approved, meeting all requirements for our home inspection licensing.

After signing, you’re all set for your inspection! While you have the option to make a payment through the portal, we prefer payment in person when the inspector arrives—this ensures flexibility in case anything changes, making the process smoother for you.

At Fortified Home Inspections, we aim to make your inspection process smooth, thorough, and informative. Here’s what you can expect on the day of your home inspection:

Inspector Arrival & Introduction

Your certified home inspector will arrive on time and introduce themselves, giving you an overview of how the inspection will be conducted. If you’re present, this is a great time to discuss any specific concerns or questions you have about the property.

Comprehensive Property Inspection

The inspector will conduct a detailed assessment of the home, which typically takes between 2 to 4 hours.

Real-Time Findings & Walkthrough

If you are available at the end of the inspection, your inspector will walk you through key findings, pointing out any areas of concern and answering your questions. This is a great opportunity to see the home through a professional’s eyes and better understand any potential issues.

Payment & Next Steps

If payment hasn’t been made online, it can be completed in person at this stage. We prefer in-person payments to ensure flexibility in case of any last-minute changes.

Digital Report Delivery

After the inspection, we compile our findings into a detailed digital report with photos, summaries, and recommendations. This report is uploaded to your client portal and emailed to you within 24 hours, providing clear insights to help you make informed decisions. The report can be exported as a PDF to whomever you wish to send it to.

Post-Inspection Support
