Garret took the time on the phone to explain the regulations set in place to protect home buyers. I had to reschedule the inspection because the builder would not accommodate to have the new home inspected. At no cost he was able to push the inspection a week later.The inspector Bert was on time. He took the time to explain every item he was inspecting. The issues found were categorized from minor to major and a report was provided with tons of pictures and videos.Overall I wish they would of built my house very impressed on their professionalismThanks guys !

Garrett communicated with me on sms and email to make the inspection appointment prior to the house purchase. He was prompt to reply and was very clear about the price. A very competitive and reasonable price too. Bert was the one to do the house inspection. He texted and emailed me the day before the inspection to remind me. He showed up early and inspected the outside of the house with a drone before I arrived. He went through everything and even explained to me in details so I know how to deal with the furnace, the water pipe and water pump. Very friendly and professional. The report was released to me within hours after the inspection. I am very pleased with their service and price. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a home inspection before purchase.

A very positive experience with Kaven for our first time home inspection.I appreciated the time he invested to do the inspection, going through a lot of details that I could ask questions about and learn. It was more of “know your home” than “here’s what’s wrong”.The report received was great, identifies all the items inspected. It also summarized the deficient items at the end to be tracked easily.He used a drone to inspect the roof, there was two inches of snow at that time but we could still see the vents and the exhaust fans.Payment was easy as he had a mobile terminal.I would recommend to family and friends!! :)

I am glad I called Fortified Home Inspections to do a home inspection. Kevan Rapley did the home inspection. He arrived exactly at the time we had arranged to meet at the house. Before the inspection, Kevan went through a total home inspection checklist with me and explained exactly what he was going to do and how long would it take to do the inspection. He gave me the option of following him during his inspection or let him work alone. After the inspection, which took about 3 hours, he went through the complete checklist with me and explained of everything that he did. He pointed out the areas of concern and made recommendations of anything that needed to be looked into. He emailed me the inspection report the same day, complete with pictures and videos of everything he inspected. I am very happy and satisfied with the home inspection done by Kevan. I would definitely recommend Fortified Home Inspections to anyone who needs a thorough and a professional home inspection done at a very reasonable price. Thank you Kevan.

It was the first time I have ever used this type of service. It provided myself with a good comfort level based on the details of the inspection in understanding the home I’m looking at to purchase. The details in the report are not just a one time event but the information gathered I can utilize in the future if the sale proceeds. Dialogue during the inspection also provided myself with other information and it was a very positive and friendly process.

Kevan was fantastic, we had a house under contract that was a foreclosure so there were some problems that were evident to us, but a ton things that we missed that Kevan picked up on. He thoroughly went through the house and made detailed notes and took the time to explain everything to us, and show us when we had questions. Kevan was very punctual and knowledgable. We will absolutely use him again for our next purchase.

I would recommend Kevan to anyone who needs a home inspection. He educated me on all the tanks and switches in my utility room and went over and above to show me some of the items that weren't up to par and gave me ideas of how to fix it. He also let me know of some of the problems that could arise in the utility room and as a first time home buyer it was very needed. The report was very thorough and presented well. Overall very impressed!

Kevan was professional and friendly in all of his dealings with us. He encouraged us to follow him during his inspection and had endless patience in answering our questions. Kevan was thorough, diligent and committed to taking as much time as needed to do a superior job. In fact, our real estate agent commented that it was one of the longest inspections she had experienced, despite there being no major concerns. Kevan helped us not only to feel comfortable with our purchase, but also to develop an introductory familiarity with and understanding of the components of our new home. Kevan’s written report was detailed and easy to understand, and completed within 12 hours. When we thought of additional questions after the fact, Kevan continued to respond in great detail by email, never making us feel as though we were wearing out our welcome when communicating even a week or two past our inspection date. We felt Kevan’s price was reasonable compared to other companies and we felt the value for money was phenomenal. We would use Kevan without any reservation in the future and encourage all of our friends and family to do the same.

Kevan is excellent. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and honest. During the inspection, Kevan took us around the house and took the time to explain what he was doing and what we would have to do to maintain the house as new home owners. He was very responsive in emails and phone calls, and the home report came later in the day as the report. We went with Kevan @ Fortified Home Inspections because of the 5 star reviews, and he did not dissapoint! He was very professional, kind, and always took the time to answer any questions I had during the inspection.As were new home owners, Kevan took time to explain our electrical,plumbing,drainage and HVAC systems; How they work, and how to properly maintain them.He was quick to point out the deficiencies, explained how it should be, and told me what I should discuss with the builder (as it was a newly built home). He also took the time to mention the positive features of the home, and explained how they were beneficial.I recieved his report the same evening. It was detailed with photos and was very easy to understand. He was also available after the inspection for follow-up questions and even offered to speak with the builder if needed to explain his findings.Overall, I would highly recommend Kevan @ Fortified Home Inspections to anyone that is looking for home inspection services. I will definitely be calling him back for my new home warranty 1 year inspection.
