Made online bookings with Fortified for inspections of three properties we were considering this summer. Each time we had very prompt email followups, from Garrett at the office, to confirm and fine-tune details of our inspections.On the first inspection day the inspector was actually on the roof when we arrived, a few minutes late, as our realtor had met him, on time, and got the ball rolling. Bert spent the whole morning with us, walking around and through the entire house with considerable attention to detail, while he took photos, explained every step, and noted observations for the report.Well worth the time & money. With each inspection he sent us access/link to download the full report and a summary the same day. Three times lucky: We're in the process of closing the deal on our latest/third home inspected by Bert of Fortified Home Inspections. Very thorough, professional and highly recommended.

Bert did a very thorough job with our inspection. With buying an acreage for the first time, and a modular for the first time, he was very informative in what things we needed to keep an eye on. He was professional but funny and made good conversation. The price was good for needing a full acreage inspection (water, well, septic, shop, and house). Home inspector was on time and friendly. The inspection and report was comprehensive and easy to understand. The report was sent the less than two hours after the inspector finished. I was able to easily make arrangements to fix any of the issues found due to a clear understanding of the severity and the level of service needed to make any repairs. Overall I absolutely would recommend this company to anyone needing a home inspection. Total price was clearly laid out before hand. Bert was fantastic.

I’ve had five other inspections done in the past by other companies but this was by far the more detailed inspection we have had. Bert was knowledgeable on every topic. He took the time to look into everything with attention to detail. He shared how we could fix issues that were noted. The report was given to us right away. Garret took the time on the phone to explain the regulations set in place to protect home buyers. I had to reschedule the inspection because the builder would not accommodate to have the new home inspected. At no cost he was able to push the inspection a week later.The inspector Bert was on time. He took the time to explain every item he was inspecting. The issues found were categorized from minor to major and a report was provided with tons of pictures and videos.Overall I wish they would of built my house very impressed on their professionalismThanks guys !

Garrett communicated with me on sms and email to make the inspection appointment prior to the house purchase. He was prompt to reply and was very clear about the price. A very competitive and reasonable price too. Bert was the one to do the house inspection. He texted and emailed me the day before the inspection to remind me. He showed up early and inspected the outside of the house with a drone before I arrived. He went through everything and even explained to me in details so I know how to deal with the furnace, the water pipe and water pump. Very friendly and professional. The report was released to me within hours after the inspection. I am very pleased with their service and price. A very positive experience with Kaven for our first time home inspection.I appreciated the time he invested to do the inspection, going through a lot of details that I could ask questions about and learn. It was more of “know your home” than “here’s what’s wrong”.The report received was great, identifies all the items inspected. It also summarized the deficient items at the end to be tracked easily.He used a drone to inspect the roof, there was two inches of snow at that time but we could still see the vents and the exhaust fans.Payment was easy as he had a mobile terminal.I would recommend to family and friends!! :)
