Providing peace of mind during your Edmonton Home Inspection

At Fortified, being homeowners ourselves, we understand the importance of the peace of mind that comes from having a home inspector thoroughly inspect your future home.  A thorough home inspection can identify unseen dangers and potential problems that may not be revealed during a real estate showing. An inspection can also confirm for you that you’re buying a safe and good quality home.

Buying a home will likely be the single, most expensive purchase you will make in your life.  It's a stressful event and it can be so helpful for a professional to guide you through the process.  It is just as vital for a professional to go through your prospective home, top to bottom, to make sure that you have as much information as possible before taking this leap.  A quality home inspection with an Inspector that has effective communication skills is the only way to obtain this vital information.

At Fortified, we take pride in providing you the best inspection and inspection report available.  Buyers are not looking for the cheapest home inspector, they are looking for the one that offers the best value.  In order for an inspection to be of value, it must have the correct information and it must be effectively communicated to the client.  This is why we encourage our clients to walk through the house with us during the inspection, so that they can learn about their home and are free to ask any questions during the inspection.  The inspection report is written in plain terms with dozens of colour photographs that show any areas of concern as well as areas of interest (such as where the main water shut off is located so that you're not running around looking for it when you're in a hurry!).

First Time Buyers

We believe a home inspection should be more than just should be an education about your home. Buying your first home is a daunting task; there is so much to consider and prepare for. The information you receive from your Home Inspector should be put into an easy to understand context or it becomes meaningless. This is why we approach our inspections as opportunities for education. We love to teach our clients about their home and help them to understand how their home functions. The best comment we can hear after an inspection is "I had know idea I'd learn so much!" A useful education is a big step towards having that peace of mind that we wish to give our clients.

So whether you’re buying your first house or your 10th, we would be privileged to put our expertise to work for you.
